The terms every Pickwell Systems build runs on. They are here so nothing is a surprise later — read them before you put down a deposit.
Every build starts with a 50% deposit, and that deposit is non-refundable. Work begins once it clears. It covers the design, writing and build time that goes in before anything is visible.
The remaining balance is due once the site is active. If it is not received within 36 hours of the site going live, the site is taken offline and the deposit is forfeited.
Bringing it back requires payment in full plus a $150 reactivation fee. This is not a penalty we enjoy applying — it exists because a live site is the deliverable, and once it is up the work is done.
One edit is a text change, an image swap, a price or contact update, or an adjustment to a single section on a page that already exists.
New pages, new features and redesigns fall outside the plan and are quoted separately.
Edits do not roll over. Managed includes five edits per quarter and Managed+ includes four per month. Any that go unused expire at the end of that quarter or month and do not carry into the next one, and they cannot be banked, combined or transferred.
Two rounds of revisions are included in every initial build. Further rounds, or changes to direction after a round has been approved, are quoted as additional work.
Photos, logos, copy and any details you want on the site are due within seven days of the deposit. Builds pause when content is outstanding, and a paused build pushes back the launch date.
Managed and Managed+ run month to month with 30 days' notice to cancel. The site stays live through the end of the period you have paid for, then comes offline.
Your lead data is exported and handed to you on request. If you want to keep the site itself running elsewhere, we will quote a buyout.
Your domain and your lead data are yours on every plan, always.
The finished site files remain the property of Pickwell Systems until the final payment clears. On Launch they are handed over at that point. On Managed and Managed+ the site stays hosted with us while the plan is active.
Launch does not include ongoing support. Once the files are delivered, hosting, updates and fixes are yours to handle, and any later work from us is quoted hourly.
Managed and Managed+ include hosting and maintenance for as long as the plan runs.
